Ring-tailed Lemurs 


  • Ring-tailed Lemurs live in Madagascar, in thick jungles.
  • They are under the “Near Threatened” classification.
  • They get their name by their tail which has black and white stripes on it.
  • Their diet mainly consists of flowers and leaves but also consists of tree bark. 
  • There average live span is 18 years old.
  • They live in small groups containing around 17 individual’s.
  • They are mammals.
  • When they travel in groups they are called a troop.
